Our History
Friends of The Palapa Society was founded with a clear mission: to provide essential annual funding to support The Palapa Society of Todos Santos, A.C., and other impactful educational programs throughout Baja California Sur, Mexico. Established as a U.S.-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Friends of The Palapa Society bridges the gap for donors seeking to make a tax-deductible contribution while supporting life-changing educational initiatives in the region.
From its inception, Friends of The Palapa Society has worked tirelessly to ensure sustainable financial resources for The Palapa Society of Todos Santos, A.C., which is widely recognized for its dedication to fostering learning opportunities and community growth. Through scholarships, literacy programs, and teacher training, these efforts have transformed the lives of countless students and families in Todos Santos and surrounding communities.
Our organization also partners with other educational initiatives across Baja California Sur, expanding the reach of our mission and strengthening the foundation of education in the region.
